Hello Tutors!
Here are a few brief announcements:
Memorial Day : Monday, May 26th is a school holiday, and there will be no tutoring on this day.
Last Day of Tutoring: The last day of tutoring for the 2007-2008 school year is Wednesday, May 28th.
One-Day Volunteer Opportunity: YES Reading received a very generous grant from the San Jose Mercury News Wishbook Fund to give students educational literacy games as an end of the year congratulatory gift. We will be wrapping all 500 of these games on Friday, May 30th, from 3:30-6:30pm, at Montague Elementary School in Santa Clara, and we could definitely use help. If you would like to help with this project please let me know!
Student's Year End Celebration: We will be hosting a celebration for the students, in recognition of their hard work and achievement this 2007-2008 school year. You are invited to attend this event on Wednesday, June 11th, from 5-6pm. Please let me know if you are able to attend.
