1. BECOME A TUTOR
Our volunteer tutors are the lifeblood of YES Reading. Implicit in
this program is the commitment of volunteers who take time to offer the
children the one-on-one attention they need that makes YES Reading a success.

2. DONATE FUNDS
Both restricted and unrestricted donations are appreciated to keep our
program running.
How your donation can help –
- $100 sponsors a family literacy event to engage and inspire our students’ families.
- $250 sponsors a special training opportunity for our tutors, giving them additional tools and strategies for supporting each student.
- $500 sponsors a library, stocking the shelves of a reading center with high-quality children’s literature.
- $1,000 purchases 150 lesson kits for our beginning and intermediate reading programs.
- $2,500 sponsors our efforts to recruit 100 new volunteer tutors to our program, enabling us to work with 125 additional students.
- $5,000 purchases all the curriculum and materials for our program for a full year.
- $10,000 sponsors 400 tutoring sessions, providing critical reading instruction and mentoring in order to close students’ reading gaps and position them for future success.
All donations are tax-deductible. We are a 501(c)(3) organization.
